Easter!!! Here are some Easter baskets I made for Carl, Joshua and I. It is a tradition in my family to have baskets. My mom made each of us kids a basket when we were growing up. I am excited to be able to carry on the tradition.

Thank you Sandy for this cute idea for cupcakes.

This week has been crazy. I thought that because it was Spring Break that I would be able to relax and enjoy my time with Joshua. Nope, didn't happen quite that way. At the beginning of the week all of us got sick. This time it wasn't a simple cough, cough and a sneeze. Nope, we all had a full blown virus. Luckily though, it didn't last really long. After the initial "death warmed over" day of sleeping, we all started to feel better. Which was a good thing because Wednesday we took Joshua in to have tubes put in his ears. He was a trooper, and did great. Within a few hours he was back to his active, adorable self.

It always amazes me how happy my little guy is. Especially, since he has had several rough patches of sickness. Just two weeks ago he went through a round of Pink EYE, the flu, and a cold. It was so sad to see him looking so sick and yet everytime I would come home from work he was always smiling and giggly. I am sooo glad that he is finally better. With the tubes in his ears, the doctors say he will be a lot healthier now. Most of what he has suffered from is ear aches. Here is what he looked like with the PINK Eye.

Joshua is rapidly learning how to feed himself. Unfortunately, he had not completely figured out how to get it all in his mounth.

The Latest

It has been a while since I posted. Joshua has been sick...a lot. He just finished a bout with RSV and before that everyone in the house had the flue. We were excited when we were able to go hang out at the temple with my sister and brother-in-law + kids. They were sealed in the temple recently.

Joshua likes to wear his food more than he likes to eat it. He thinks its funny to see how messy he can get. Mom, doesn't think its so funny when she has to bathe him after every meal. Although, I will admit. He looks really adorable with food on his face.

Carl, Joshua and Steve are on the lookout for those hiding in the mountains for search and rescue. Two people go out and hide in separate grids, then two teams of people and dogs go out looking for them.

Joshua is so silly sometimes. He makes the funniest faces, and cutest smiles.

Here is a picture from when Carl, Joshua and I went up with the Parsons into the mountains for search and rescue. I had so much fun. Tyson and I were the ones to go up and hide from the dogs. We were all over the mountain, acting like lost victims. The dogs were practicing searching for actual missing persons. Carl and I do this most every Saturday. This was my first time, but I will definately be going again.

I took this picture this morning just after I had gotten Joshua ready for church. I love spiking his hair. I think he looks so cute!

Carl and my brother in-law Steve went down to California for training. Carl is going to be working with the search and rescue in Salt Lake City.

This is Carl and Ryan at the dog trials. Carl is hoping to train dobermans.

So Carl and I had this idea, that since Joshua was growing out of all his clothes so fast, we would just buy him one size too big. As you can see, it is working out only partially well, because all his legs and arms are too long. He doesn't mind it too much though, it just gives him extra material to try and eat.

Carl, Darrel, Scott, My dad, Steve, Tyson and Joseph all went paint balling over Thanksgiving break. They had a blast, and have the large, red, welts to prove it.

Joshua is growing like a weed. We just bought him a new car seat, because he grew out of his infant seat. We decided this time to get a car seat that fits up to 100 pounds....he should be there in about a month (LOL).

Well it has been a while

So I have decided it is time to do a little updating. Here are some pictures. I would put some more recent, but I am HUGE and so I am in denial. Maybe soon, lol. Especially since I have been on a dye my hair kick. I am careful to avoid my scalp, in case it is not baby safe, but I am slowly going BLONDE! It is kinda fun.

So the baby is coming soon. We have an appointment next week to find out how soon. Last time I was in they told me it would be early June. That is a month early, but the baby is growing fast they say. I have placenta previa. They are still hoping it moves though. I really want to get blogging more. Once the baby is born it should be easier since I will have tons of pictures of him to post.

Well Off to BED I have school, so I will post more later. Hopefully it won't take me as long to get back on here.
